Advance Notice. TV on the Radio at the Music Box.

Just over four years ago, I saw TV on the Radio at the Music Box and wrote about the show for my college paper. The headline was "TV on the Radio wows Hollywood".

They're playing the same venue May 3, and I highly suggest getting tickets when the pre-sale starts tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Password: WILLDO.

If you're not familiar with the band, check out their 2006 album, Return to Cookie Mountain (particularly songs I Was a Lover, and Wolf Like Me), and their new (fourth) album, Nine Types of Light, which will be released April 12.

The Music Box is located at 6126 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood. Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com, $25. Info: themusicbox.la, (323) 464-0808

Advance Notice. Vampire Weekend.

Vampire Weekend is playing Pomona's Fox Theater in April and if you want to go, I suggest you purchase your tickets this morning. The presale begins at 10:00 a.m. and the password is CONTRA.

Their new album, Contra, is out next Tuesday--January 12. After nearly two years of having "Oxford Comma" stuck in my head, I for one am thrilled about some new music from the New York indie rockers.

The Fox Theater Pomona is located at 301 S. Garey Ave. in Pomona, Calif.

Advance Notice. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at Echoplex.

Set your alarm clocks and cell phone reminder messages for Saturday morning! Grab a cup of coffee and get online by 10:00 a.m. to order tickets for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's March 14 show at Echo Park's Echoplex. It will sell out.

In October, their song "Done All Wrong" was released on the Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack. Other bands with music in the super-popular film include Brooklyn-based Grizzly Bear and Los Angeles' Sea Wolf.

The L.A.-based band (formerly from San Francisco) is named after Marlon Brando's motorcycle gang in The Wild One (awesome).

BRMC's new album, "Beat the Devil's Tattoo", is due out March 9.

Order tickets at: www.ticketweb.com Saturday December 12, 10:00 a.m.
