Check It. Twelve.

There was an article on Kieran Culkin in the Sunday New York Times, and I wondered why. He's great as Igby Slocumb in 2002's Igby Goes Down (little brother Rory plays 10-year-old Igby), but haven't seen him in much since. Apparently he's in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and his little brother's getting work too ...

Twelve is a film Roger Ebert called "a 'Less Than Zero' for 2010". If you're a Bret Easton Ellis fan, that's no small comment. He also called it "assured and fearless." This isn't surprising when you look at the talent involved: it's directed by Joel Schumacher (St. Elmo's Fire, Batman & Robin, Phone Booth), and stars Rory Culkin, Emma Roberts, Ellen Barkin, Chase Crawford, and is narrated by Kiefer Sutherland (who Schumacher worked with on The Lost Boys in 1987).

The tagline - a sort of Cinderella gone horror film - is "Where will you be when the clock strikes Twelve?".

Opens Friday August 6.
