Do It. PaleyFest 2011.

If you're a fan of TV -- and with all the wonderful choices out there on both network and cable, plus the ability to catch it all online, who isn't? -- then PaleyFest is for you.

Every year, the Paley Center for Media holds a two-weeklong fest featuring discussions and Q&As featuring creators and casts from TV's most beloved shows. And this year's got it all; look for events with True Blood, Community, The Walking Dead, American Idol, Eastbound and Down and more. There's even going to be a Freaks and Geeks/Undeclared reunion!

The festival takes place from March 4-17, but tickets for individual event have just gone on sale to the general public, so get on it! You might even consider buying a festival pass, or becoming a Paley Center member to get $10 off each ticket price. Otherwise, they range from $25-$75 for each event. Time to get up close and personal with your favorite TV people.

PaleyFest 2011 takes place from March 4-17 at the Saban Theatre, located at 8440 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills.

Advance Notice. Mad Men Season 4.

Well, summer is certainly not all about reruns. True Blood this week, and Season 4 of Mad Men coming to AMC on Sunday July 25 at 10:00 p.m. If you've been missing Don and Betty, Joan, Roger, or even Peggy Olson and Pete Campbell, there's not too much longer to wait.

In the meantime you can collect some cool vintage clothes and/or accessories and get your home bar ready to concoct some Manhattans. Or if you, like me, haven't entirely kept up with Seasons 2 and 3, you can catch up on DVD before Season 4 airs.

9 by Design season finale.

Tonight marks the end of Season 1 of my favorite new TV show, 9 by Design. Not only do Bob and Cortney Novogratz have fun (or at least appear to) raising seven kids in New York City, they also design awesome spaces, documented along the way by who better than Bravo.

Here's hoping the new first family of reality TV signs on for more time in front of the cameras!

Lost, Modern Family, Dexter...many could argue that television is in one of its greatest eras right now. So what does it take to be behind such great television?

Listen to the creators, producers and actors speak for themselves. This year's PaleyFest features great, in-depth discussions with the talent from some of TV's best shows right now, including those three aforementioned plus other fan and critic favorites like Glee, The Vampire Diaries, Breaking Bad and Curb Your Enthusiasm (Larry David in person?! Come on!). It's a can't-miss experience for any fan.

The festival doesn't start until Feb. 26, but you should get your tickets now--Lost and Glee's discussions are already sold out.

Eat & Drink It. Dean & Deluca.

Nothing screams coffee like a Monday morning ...

I first noticed Dean & Deluca in high school while watching my favorite TV show, Felicity. Prime-time's favorite curly-haired NYU student Felicity Porter (Keri Russell) worked there, and while I thought their simple black and white style was cool, I knew nothing of their expansive selection of gourmet goodies. The self-described "purveyors of fine food, wine & kitchenware" are on my mind a lot these days, and it's a damn shame L.A. doesn't have one (California has one, in St. Helena). Thank goodness for the world wide web.

As a Christmas gift, I received a bag of the Manhattan Blend coffee with a set of the super cute diner-style white Dean & Deluca mugs. I'm getting used to the additional step of grinding the whole beans (I'd been a pre-ground kinda gal), but it's all worth it in the end. Next I'm going to give their French Roast a try, as the online description includes the words "dark chocolate, nutmeg and caramel." Yum.

Other D&D favorites--tinned candy, chicken pot pie, and awesome red spatulas.

Check It. Latino 101.

Last night Lauren and I attended the premiere party for our friend (and ex fellow LAT Editorial Assistant) Joshua Sandoval's new TV show, "Latino 101". "The class you never took" is in the same commentary-style vein as VH1 hits like "I Love the 80's" and "Best Week Ever". The brand new show features comedian/actors Alex Reymundo, Joey Medina and Godfrey (who you may know as the 7 Up guy), among others.

Check it out--Josh is a very funny guy and it's sure to come across in his latest creative venture.

Check It. Modern Family.

This week's "Undeck the Halls" episode of ABC's new hit show "Modern Family" is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. Family webcam chatting with grandpa (Fred Willard) in ugly Christmas sweaters? Yes. If you're not already obsessed with the mid-week treat, tune in tonight to meet the cast, and discover what is sure to soon become a favorite.

Ed O'Neill (perhaps better known as Al Bundy) is better than ever as Jay Pritchett, the thread between each "modern family"--his own (he's re-married to a much younger Columbian beauty named Gloria, played by the hilarious Sofia Vergara), and those of his two children (Claire Dunphy played by Julie Powell and Mitchell Pritchett, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Claire is married to my favorite character in the show, wannabe hip dad Phil Dunphy, played by Ty Burrell. He will make you LOL (he "surfs the web" and texts, so knows these abbreviations, like WTF--why the face?). Burrell has a familiar face from various small-ish roles, but he's making a name for himself here.

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. on ABC.
