Check It. Foo Fighters at Fingerprints.

Alth0ugh all 200 wristbands to the Foo Fighters album release sold out almost as soon as they became available, many people are heading to Fingerprints this Saturday to try and get a glimpse of the Foo performing live (and free!) at Fingerprints in Long Beach.

As part of Record Day this Saturday, the Foo Fighters are set to perform a few of their new and old hits in the East Village record store.

Other events are scheduled that day, including a free ticket give-away to the theatrical release of the Beastie Boys' "long-form video", a meet-the-bad with F*cked Up, and another live performance after the Foo's 2 hour show.
Fingerprints is located at 420 E. 4th Street in Long Beach. The Foo Fighters are set to perform at 5 p.m.

Advance Notice. Portfolio and Fingerprints combine forces.

Two of the coolest places in Long Beach, Portfolio Coffeehouse and Fingerprints Music are opening a combined location set to open at the beginning of December.

This will be the third location for The Port, and Fingerprints is making the move for bigger digs to house their very cool selection of music, fan gear, and in-store shows -- all the makes of a perfect marriage.

Portfolio has some excellent seasonal coffees, and Fingerprints is a great place to pick up a present for the music lover for the holidays.

The new location is set to be in the East Village at 420 E. 4th.
