Florence and the Machine is a band I'd like to get more into, so I'm thinking of going to this show even though it's on a Monday night. Hailing from England (land of historically good music), they're steadily gaining popularity here in the states. With a Spin magazine cover (for Artist of the Year) and a 'Best New Artist' 2011 Grammy nomination already under their belt, they're clearly heading toward great success.
Tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. tickets go on sale (through ticketmaster, $35) for their Monday June 13 show at the Greek Theatre.
Mid-June should be lovely for an outdoor concert in Los Feliz.
