The American Cinematheque makes it possible to see awesome old movies on the big screen. Tonight, The Shining (1980) is playing at Hollywood's Egyptian Theater.I've seen this classic horror film a few times, and it's visually stunning as well as terrifying. The Shining is creepy in the way of you can actually see it happening--not like zombies invading your town. Of course Jack Nicholson is fantastic, as is Shelley Duvall.
The Egyptian Theatre is located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood.
Tickets are $11 for general admission, and available on Fandango or at the box office.
