A local group based in Long Beach, Katie the Pest is a recent find for me. I love their soft, simple sound and they play tons of local, small, inexpensive shows at bars in Long Beach including Que Sera and Prospector. Their next show is scheduled to take place at the Prospector March 20 -- a ways away.
