Can you believe it -- that little white cartoon kitty is turning 50! And you know she has to celebrate in style.Sanrio is hosting Small Gift Los Angeles, a full-on huge event with games, prizes, an art show, pop-up store, food trucks and more to celebrate all that is Hello Kitty. It's just one of two major stops of Sanrio's 50th anniversary tour, which popped up all over the U.S. But for this week, they've touched down in Santa Monica, complete with a ferris wheel.
Check out the schedule of events here (the event officially started last weekend, so by now the crowds have probably died down) -- don't miss that "Kitty in Pink" 80s prom! You'll be sure to see some interesting stuff there -- and get ready to dive into some nostalgia.
