Tonight the Long Beach City Council will be deciding the fate of the Colorado Lagoon by voting on measures that will affect the restoration of this part of the greater Los Cerritos Wetlands. The lagoon stretches to Cal State Long Beach and totals 2,400 acres of nature -- something that is hard to come by in Long Beach.
If you live in Long Beach and will be around at 5:30 p.m. tonight, join the Friends of the Colorado Lagoon by going to the Long Beach City Hall.
The Long Beach City Hall is located at 333 W. Ocean Blvd.
