After four years as a BlackBerry user, I made the switch this weekend to the iPhone 4. So far, I'm impressed. For all the negativity it's been getting, it certainly has a lot going for it. The GPS is fast and creepily accurate, the camera is crisp (5 mega pixels), and I haven't had a dropped call yet.I've reached out to some fellow iPhone-toting friends for advice on what apps are the best, and so far I have eight: the Hipstamatic camera, Shazam, Facebook, ColorCapture, Epicurious, Starbucks, Yelp, and Real Level.
The alarm clock this morning was quite pleasant - bell tower.
My fingers are getting used to the screen tapping and getting quite accurate when typing. It's early on, but the ride's been good thus far.

I was a loyal blackberry user for about 4 years too up untill 8 months ago and made the switch and I LOVE IT.

* Lo-Mob (camera app like the hipstamatic but you can use any picture you already have to edit. you don't have to take the picture in the app)
* Mr. number - identifies phone numbers you don't recognize pretty accurately
* Pandora - music app that plays songs similar to the "stations" you create
* Urbanspoon - It's set up like a slot machine and you shake the phone to find a restaurant based on location, type of cuisine, and cost.
* I am t-pain - autotune app.
some other camera apps that I love are pano, comicstrips, sticki pici, and quadcamera
Theres also tons of good subway maps too if you travel. I just went to NYC & DC. the times listed were fairly accurate and it shows you the connecting trains at each stop.
