If you love The Talented Mr. Ripley (and who doesn't, really?), you should check out Plein Soleil. The handsome Alain Delon stars as Tom Ripley in this 1960 predecessor to the 1999 Anthony Minghella film. Both are based on the 1955 novel The Talented Mr. Ripley.As creepy as it is, it's also a fun summer movie, because the locations are beautiful. Sailing off the Amalfi coast with a perfect tan and an even more perfect wardrobe never looked so good.
